During the turnover and commissioning of eight Philippine Air Force brand new Bell-412EPs Helicopter from Canada and the two attack versions of AgustaWestland AW-109 Power Helicopter from Italy.
The United States of America show their help and support to the armed forces modernization program of the Philippines through giving excess defense articles with two more C-130 transport aircraft and two spare engine. With the additional mission ready C-130s transport from the U.S, the Philippines Air Force will expand its number and capacity of existing medium lift aircraft.
By 2016, there will be a total of five mission ready C-130 Transport aircraft and foreign military funding up to $65 Million ( 3 billion pesos) from United States.
