Balikatan 2015 – US Air Force and PAF Develop Bilateral Rescue Skills

The bilateral training event provided both rescue teams with a better understanding of how each other operates, and ensures mission accomplishment should they work side-by-side in the future. United States Air Force pararescuemen with 31st Rescue Squadron and members from the 505th Search and Rescue Group of the Philippine Air Force conducted a mass-casualty evacuation drill at Clark Air Base, Philippines, April 2015, during exercise Balikatan 2015.

Balikatan is an annual Philippines-U.S. military training exercise and humanitarian assistance engagement, which highlights the longstanding partnership between both nations.
