Philippine Air Force Additional Air Transport Capability

The Philippine Air Force develop Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) capability and its acquiring Light, Medium and Heavy lift Transport Aircraft.

For medium lift transport, the Spanish aerospace EADS/CASA manufacturer  supply three Airbus C-295, acquisition worth 5.29 Billion pesos for this hot project.

For light lift, PT Dirgantara Indonesia would supply two (2) Light Lift NC 212i Fixed Wing Aircraft worth 814 Million pesos.

For the heavy lift  transport aircraft, United States will supply the two new and refurbished C130 Hercules including 2  spare engine .

As of February 2016, the three C-295M Medium are already in Philippine Air Force inventory ready to fly high in our skies!
