PEARL HARBOR (June 29, 2016) USS Princeton (CG 59) arrives at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam for Rim of the Pacific 2016.
USS PRINCETON is the sixth ship to bear this name and was commissioned in 1989 in Pascagoula, MS. It won two consecutive Battle Efficiency Awards in 1992-1993.
USS PRINCETON underwent a complete overhaul and modernization from mid-June 1999 to the end of March 2000.
RIMPAC 2016 is the 25th exercise in the series that began in 1971.
