BRP Bonifacio Returns Home From Malaysia

The Philippine Navy (PN) performed an arrival ceremony on April 6 at Pier 13,  South Harbor, Manila. The returning of frigates BRP Andres Bonifacio (FF17) after its successful participation in the recently-concluded Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) Exhibition 2017 in Langkawi Island, Malaysia, and succeeding port visits to Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) bases in Lumut and Port Klang, Malaysia.

Serving the Flag Officer In Command, (FOIC) PN was the Commander of Fleet-Marine Ready Force, Commo. Albert Mogol, who presided over the arrival ceremony for more or less 200 Sailors and Marines composing the PN contingent.

LIMA Exhibition, which ran this year from March 21 to 26, is one of the most prominent exhibitions in Asia as a dedicated maritime and aerospace demonstration for defense, civil aviation, commercial aviation, shipbuilding and ship repair.
