Chinese Air Force aircraft, including H-6K bombers and Su-30 fighters, have completed a patrol of airspace above the Spratly Islands and Scarborough Shoal in West Philippine Sea.
Their maneuver is part of the Air Force’s combat training to improve readiness against security threats. A senior Air Force official said the drill included air defense warnings, air combat, and island patrolling.
China’s Air Force conducts regular South China Sea patrols to safeguard state sovereignty, security and maritime interests.
