President Rodrigo Roa Duterte witnessed the Light Regiment Reaction Unit’s capability demonstration on how to act during counter-terrorist operations, such as the Sniper Operations and Close Quarter Combat, during his visit to the 7th Infantry Division (7ID) Headquarters in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.
The Light Reaction Regiment (LRR) is a subordinate unit of the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) of the Philippine Army (PA). It is the PA’s premier counterterrorism force headed by Colonel Alexander Macario together with Brigadier General Danilo Pamonag.
