Last month the US Navy Warship and Patrol Aircraft visited in Cebu, Philippines. During the visit, the US Navy Crews demonstrate P8 Poseidon Maritime aircraft capability. While the USS Coronado (LCS 4) also conduct maritime patrol together with Philippine Navy Del Pilar class frigates.
Coronado is the second littoral combat ship (LCS) to feature a high-speed trimaran hull and will be designed to defeat littoral threats and provide access to coastal waters for missions such as mine warfare, anti-submarine warfare, and surface warfare.
