Last January 2017, the Udaloy Class Destroyer conduct goodwill visit in our country.

Before the Russian naval warship arrived in the country, which is the guided-missile cruiser Varyag, accompanied by the large sea tanker Pechenga.

HMCS Ottawa (FFH 341)

HMCS Ottawa has a displacement of 5,032 tons, a length of 134.2 meters, a beam of 16.5 meters, and a draft of 7.1 meters. The Frigates has a speed of 30 knots or 56 kilometers per hour.

The warship Ottawa is the twelfth and last ship of the Halifax class that were built as part of the Canadian Patrol Frigate Project. She is the 4th to carry the designation HMCS Ottawa.

The ship is equipped with 1 × 57 mm Bofors Mk2 gun, 16 × Evolved Sea-Sparrow SAM, 8 × RGM-84 Harpoon SSM , 1 × 20 mm Vulcan Phalanx CIWS, 6 × .50 caliber machine gun, 24 × Honeywell Mk 46 torpedoes, and carried one CH-124 Sea King Aircraft.

HMCS Winnipeg (FFH 338) Frigate

The warship HMCS Winnipeg is a Halifax-class frigate that has served in the Royal Canadian Navy since 1996. Winnipeg is the ninth ship in her class.

This Frigate has the same characteristics of Warship Ottawa.
