As the Philippines searching for fast attack requirement under Horizon 2 Modernization phase. Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is in talk with the Philippine Government to provide a fast attack craft (FAC) for the country’s navy and coastguard services.
Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) offer the Super Dvora Mk III-type fast attack craft. The boat can carry advanced stabilized precision naval weapon systems and sensors for enemy engagement during day and night, in all weather conditions.
The vessel can be additionally armed with optional weapon systems, including long-range missile launching system and short-range missiles, such as Hellfire surface-to-surface missiles.
The boats also can be optionally fitted with day/night electro-optic device, anti-missile early warning radar, intelligence gathering systems and self-defence suite.
The vessel measures 27.4 meters in length and 5.7 meters beam, and has a displacement of up to 72 tons. It can reach speeds more than 40 knots (74 km/h). The boat can carry up to 12 crew members.
The boat is capable of intercepting targets at speeds nearing 50 knots.
