The Philippines Amphibious Assault Vehicle will be armed with:
- 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher,
- 5 caliber machine gun
- Smoke grenade launchers
- Communication equipment – compatibility with existing AFP radio equipment
Each AAV can accommodate three (3) crew members, and is capable of bringing in 21 fully equipped troops.
