Philippine service members with U.S. Marines from 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division conduct static line and free fall jumps from a CH-53 Super Stallion on Oct. 7, 2014 as part of the Amphibious Landing Exercise 15 (PHIBLEX 15) at Basa Air Base, Philippines. PHIBLEX 15 is an annual, bilateral training exercise conducted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, U.S. Marines and Navy to strengthen interoperability across a range of capabilities to include humanitarian and civic actions, disaster relief and contingency operations.
