Upon arrival of MPAC, the separate bidder will install additional capability such as radar and weapon upgrades. Currently the Philippine Navy operates six Multipurpose Attack Craft (MPACs), three (3) of which were acquired from Taiwan and the other three (3) from Filipino shipbuilder company Propmech Corporation.
The acquisition of three (3) Multi purpose attack craft cost 270 Million pesos.
